Research Experience (Selected)

Worked on the Theme-based Research Scheme (TRS) titled Learning and Assessment for Digital Citizenship (PI: Prof. Nancy Law) at the Faculty of Education, University of Hong Kong

Co-developed Digital City Fighter, a 3D multiplayer mobile role-playing game designed to assess primary school students' collaborative problem solving skills.

Co-developed CPSLens, a learning analytics dashboard enabling teachers to visualize and evaluate students' in-game collaborative problem solving performance.

Wrote the research proposal (supervised by Prof. Nancy Law and Prof. Xiao Hu), which included:

  • Conducting extensive literature reviews and formulating research questions.
  • Establishing theoretical frameworks and devising a multimodal coding scheme.
  • Adopting evidence-centered design and developing the experimental protocol.

Conducted in-school experiments, collecting multimodal data from 100 teams (N = 400 students), including log files, verbal communications, and survey responses.
